iPhoto 6: does it do lossless jpeg rotation?
I spent over an hour searching the net for the answer to this question, but all I found were people asking it. Anybody know? Or even how could I tell? Should the file size be exactly the same?

Why on earth doesn’t iPhoto just update the orientation in the EXIF data for rotated photos?

EXIF data isn’t honored by many apps I want to use to display pictures. Chief among them is my TiVo. There is a method for really rotating JPEG images which involves matrix math rotations for pictures which are a multiple of 8-bytes wide and high. Aperture does this, I believe.
